Kavita Bali, born in India, moved to the US at age 6 with an insatiable appetite for creativity, knowledge and exploration. An intermedia artist working in visual arts, design, film, experimental performance and poetry, she's been involved in the creation of art and design for over twenty years. Her art & films have been exhibited across the US. Always seeking to capture the intangible emotions of life's experiences, her mediums may vary, yet the potency of her creative fervor never falters. In June 2010, she joined the vibrant artist community in Greenville.

Bali has a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and completed MFA Film courses at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Bali offers Contemporary Fine Art Paintings and Design Services through her Urban Peacock Studios located at the Village Studios & Gallery.
